So last game I used an ultra rare boost in Warzone. I get flipped over on my Ghost and this random teammate hops in it even though I was right there, flipping it over. I give the Ghost a smack to let him know that wasn’t right, and he turns around and splatters me (he backs up, and hits me on purpose). So I’m about to report him, I press the box to type a comment in the report, and my dashboard freezes. The game is still going on in the background, and I see the flashing cursor where you type the text, but all my button presses did nothing so I couldn’t get out of that window. I knew then I was screwed, I would get kicked for inactivity long before the game was over if I tried to wait it out, so I just turned off my xbox. Now the boost is gone, and I didn’t even get to report the guy (I forgot his name and he doesn’t show up in recent players). Kind of messed up that if I didn’t report the guy this probably wouldn’t have happened.
While under different circumstances, I think I lost my boost to a crash at least 5 times now since Halo 5 released, and I’m getting fed up with expecting to grin and bear it. I can’t think of any solution other then just letting us keep our boosts if we leave a game or turn our xboxs off. Since I’m not sure if there’s a way for 343 to automatically detect a crash vs voluntarily quitting the game or turning off your xbox, and giving the boost back to only those who crashed. Like in my case, my game didn’t crash, but my dashboard froze.
That sounds awful. I lost a game when I had a victory boost, I sell them every time now. Honestly though I would assume you would rather have your req stuff first then focus on less useful ranks. Sucks though.

That’s not the moral of the story. Moral of the story is something needs to be done about losing your boosts for something out of your control.
Also, that isn’t stupid crap. Stealing my ghost? That’s not cool but alright. Immediately killing me after he saw I wanted my ghost back to rub it in? That’s a different story. People are -Yoinks!-, and deserve to be reported for it. Or would you rather people not report those players so you run into them in games more often?

It is a complete and literal rip-off, people often pay for these boosts in their req packs and then they are wasted on server problems, they should get the boost back or a free bronze req pack for all the frustration. I have lost about 4 or 5 boosts now (not to mention some really good stats), 343 needs to fix this soon, taking money for services NOT PROVIDED, even if it only amounts to pennies, those are my pennies -Yoink!-! Ridiculous garbage that can be fixed if they truly wanted to, do the right thing 343!

This weekend I had at least 5 games disconnect, loosing all stats for the match and any reqs I used, I had used and lost a rare RP boost and then I “lost” boosters like Gambit assist cause of JIP’s halfway thru a match or with the Core exposed already.
