So, has there been any updates, rumors, or speculations to the “Blast” BR skin, the “Concrete” DMR skin, and the “Swift” Orbital armor skin? I’ve began to think 343i just made the skins to weed out modders; being that they’re un-obtainable, it’d be easy to spot a mod, if someone had one of the skins present, in game. I still wonder about them though, and if 343i will ever release them to the public.

I’ve seen quite a few people using the BR “Blast” Skin, the DMR one not so much. I hope eventually there is a way to unlock them though, maybe through more action figures? I’m a huge fan of the Blast skin so if there is any legit way of getting it, I’m all ears
Currently, there is no way of unlocking them, but I too have been seeing players use the BR Blast a lot, but most likely its a mod. Im comfortable with what i have, but i recommend keeping an eye on Sec-3, b/c there maybe a possibility that there will be a code in the future to unlock the unobtainable armor/weapon skins.
I saw a modder using the BR “BLAST” weapon skin a few days ago; got some screenshots of him, too. Managed to kill him and looted the weapon off of his body. It looks pretty neat.
You think 343i would have told us how to unlock these by now? I mean, seriously; it’s been 6 months since the Champions DLC was released. Quit holding out on us.

go into forge, set your primary/secondary weapons to “random” and start committing suicide. You’ll spawn with it eventually.
Seriously, that’s the only non-modded way to get it I’m afraid.

Come on… that method isn’t worth crap. It’s only really good if you just want to see what they look like; but what we really want is to be able to unlock them for use in matchmaking.
Wow, dude. I was clearly stating that THAT’S THE ONLY NON-MODDED WAY TO USE THE SKINS. I’M BASICALLY SAYING IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THEM IN MM WITHOUT MODDING.

You know, I’m wondering; has 343i ever commented on these particular skins? I don’t think they’ve ever even acknowledged their existence.
Has anybody ever thought that the hidden skins might be 343’s own exclusive skins? You know, just like Recon armour and Blue Flames used to be Bungie’s exclusives until they were unlocked. This could be why they haven’t mentioned any way to unlock them. Just a thought.

This seems like extremely valid. It wouldn’t surprise me, if it was a 343i exclusive, but who knows! The only time I’ve ever seen them comment on the skins’ existence, was stating that it is illegal to mod… So who knows. Maybe one day, they’ll be released to the public population.
