Lower their shields, they hide, throw grenade in their proximity they die.
Practice angling your throws, downward works great in the fortress or in the garage.
Along with angling use walls, and other surroundings to bounce your grenade for maximum efficiency.
Regular grenades- aim to have the grenade land in front of enemy since they bounce-skid quite a bit. Use bouncing and skidding to advantage to hit enemies around corners, in hiding in spots on maps. Can use them to get enemy behind you if you can bounce off of wall or objects in from of you (tricky)
Splinter grenades - aim to hit enemy or fall just in front of them - use two in a row for kill, one for shield drop. Bonus if you get enemies following that can be killed by the lingering energy sparks. Good for groups of enemies to weaken or kill them.
Plasma grenades - best used to aim at centre mass and stick enemy. Great for ambush or close quarter combat. nice to have some ready to go if someone Spartan charges or melees you and you stick them when close. Sometimes get lucky if you can toss them well to stick enemy from a distance. Great to use from above jumping over enemy and essentially “sticky bombing” them. Bonus fun to stick them in the groin or head!

Tip 1: Throw Grenades
Splinter grenades can be use to either block enemies escape or cover your own escape.
Well once you ajust to the garbage grenade physics. Throwing towards a near by wall or directly under you seems to work with frags the most since they bounce super far. Plasmas and splinters don’t really bounce so just throw them at people normally. Of course if that all fails you could stick yourself and charge.
Be careful not to hit a grenade against a wall only to come back at you…

Don’t throw them at the enemy. Throw them where the enemy is going.
If he’s running behind a corner, throw it high against the walls to get more distance. Throw it straight down at your feet if they’re coming straight at you while you run
Watch pros on Twitch. How they use them. It’ll help a lot. I also tend to throw 2 in a row just about every single time.
Use the environment to help you place them better. IE: walls, floor, etc.
I guess the easiest for you is to jump on the vehicle coming out and plant it on the vehicle
Might be really tricky, but you can shoot grenades that are laying around as well. Lots of luck involved w/ getting a kill out of it I suppose.

no need to be thrifty. they’re everywhere, especially after bodies start dropping. hail Mary!
Understand the grenade principles.
- Frags explode one second after they touch the ground, however, if they touch anywhere else it does not count - Stickies explode about 1.5 seconds after they stop moving - Splinters explode after jumping and each segment explodes 0.25 seconds after you get in rangeAfter that you can know how to use your grenades. It’s just practice after that
