I go for achievements and “A Monument To All Your Sins” (complete campaign on legendary, alone) and wondered if anyone has suggestions to get through it? Im really bad on legendary.
This site is filled with videos with some amazing things you can do , learned so much from watching posted videos. You will be amazed.
Avoid close range with enemies, it’s safer to stay away and kill them from here with a precision weapon.
An A.I. controlled Shade turn very fast and can shoot with an impossible firerate.
A Wraith can shoot at you without line of sight, boost and shoot backwards much like a Revenant, beware of this if you sneak up on one.
The Hologram is good to scare Elites or Brutes, if a sword wielding Elite run towards you, use the Hologram and the Elite should stop, scared and anger, this give you a lot of time to kill him, the A.I. can’t break the animation (the same for a Brute and their grenade throw) . Usually Spec Ops and Rangers are never pissed of, don’t even try on them. The A.I. can still melee you between the scared and anger animation.
The A.I. can headshot you but don’t even try to land one, it’s random.
The human A.I. handle Covenant weapons better than UNSC weapons, give a Needle Rifle instead of a DMR, also, A.I. in you vehicle somewhat inflict the same damage as you (it’s the same if you killed an enemy but took his shots after) and can supercombine.
plasma pistol and dmr does wonders…speed run and/or bypass as many confrontations as you can…
If you can’t speedrun past encounters, take it slow and steady. Go for a stealthier approach.
Watch this guy’s videos. You’ll walk right through Legendary. You can thank me later.
Edit: The guy’s name on YouTube is Hokiebird428
thanks so much everyone!!
Don’t take any risks that you don’t need to.
Yeah watch Hokiebird428’s guides on Youtube. Not only does he walk you through the level, but he also explains enemy spawns, the best weapons, armour abilities, tactics, etc to use in each situation through commentary.

His Nightfall guide is 42 minutes long. Follow MythicTyrant’s guide and beat Nightfall in 5 minutes or less.

Yes because Hokiebird plays Halo the way you’re meant to. He doesn’t skip any enemies or battles. MythisTyrant used the door glitch for Nightfall, which isn’t fair for a walkthrough. I’d be fine if it was a speedrunning guide.
- Plasma pistol and do not overcharge it. It takes down shields faster tap firing. You overcharge it and miss and your -Yoink- is hung to dry.
- DMR\NEEDLE RIFLE. Headshots all the way.
- Avoid confrontation when possible.
Plasma pistol then DMR. You got this OP!

I rarely find myself using this combo beside laso attempts, there is always better tools around.
It’s only the beginning of Sword Base (laso) , waiting an Elite to run towards Kat to bash her (or Kat being pushed by explosions) and plasma pistol their shields to death since the A.I. always melee when possible.
Before my gamerscore got reset, I just took my time with the campaign to get this achievement, there isn’t 1 part where enemies spawn endlessly so just play it safe.
