Once again, there’s a single impossible achievement that’s entirely situational. I’m really getting sick of these, 343. I would be glad if all multiplayer achievements were just done away with entirely. It’s all just too situational.
Anyway, does anybody have any idea how in the heck you get this achievement? Nothing I’ve tried is getting me anywhere. I guess I just have to keep playing Ricochet until the PERFECT situation presents itself. sigh
Have a team mart lure them from the sniper side with the ball. Let them have it while you hide then spring and assassinate.

Assuming I can get my teammates to cooperate…
All I can think of would be camping by the goal and wait for someone to run in. Even then, it would be pretty hard. This is probably the hardest Achievement from Champions Bundle. Getting the Ball Carrier to not kill you immediately is probably the hardest part.
My first game, I kinda got the opposite of this. I tried to melee a guy when I had the Ball (I think I was close to the goal.) and it ended up being a Ballsassination.
I don’t suppose there’s a glitch to get any of these achievements in Custom Games, like the “Airsassination” achievement in the Majestic Map Pack?
…and I still can’t get that airborne Warthog kill in Crimson DLC. Too bad there ain’t a glitch for that one.

Much like with past dlc, it wouldn’t surprise me if people just get together and boost this one. It really is quite stupid.
I personally managed to nail the assassination animation right as the ball keeper was inches from the goal only to have a my “totally helpful” teammate come sprinting up with the sword trying to steal my kill, but only succeed in killing me instead giving them the win. Imagine my face at that moment…

to get airborne warthog achievement throw a plasma grenade in one of the lifts on shatter and have it go up and down then wait for some one to get stuck .
Honestly, this is a completely luck based achievement. You can get help using a teammate or guest to help lure them in, and if your hiding good enough, you should be able to get it no problem. You will feel so satisfied when you get it though.
I just camp right around the goal, and when the ball carrier is close, stand up and be ready for him to come in. I should have gotten this five times but I beat them down instead of assassinating them, and I was holding the melee button down too!

Agreed it is a luck based achievement and getting teammates to cooperate is rather difficult I can not stress how many betrayals and butthurt teammates attack each other like a pack of wild dogs just for one of their own guys getting the achievement
Guest is the key word my friend.
