Okay so I’ve played halo since 1 came out ab I’ve stuck to the “343 can never do anything right” aspect. I’ve generally played 3 and have now decided to try out 5. So anything to know? Any advice? Stuff like that.
Multiplayer:
Magnum, AR (With long shot sight and kinetic bullets), & DMR are your best options to survive haha
The BR is actually very bad and inconsistent, so avoid it…
Req. Packs:
Buy some Bronze reqs. First, and then buy only Silver packs, when you already have everything that comes in silver packs you can start to buying the golds ones.
Start in Warzone Firefight because there you can earn more req. Points to buy packs. Try Legendary or Mythic after the level 20.
Good luck

Depends on what you’re playing, if its Warzone firefight, just practice aim on grunts and try to land headshots, I found that somehow increased my accuracy in PvP.
If your talking about traditional WZ, then just get REQ packs (as much as I hate to say it), get as many snipers as you can, and just hang back and snipe people/bosses. If your team is doing good, I would push up with a magnum/H2 BR and a shotgun/DMR if your going gradually, and if your want to be extreme, use a vehicle (anything but a wasp, plasma pistols tear through those).
Now if your talking about PvP, I have a list of things to do. First is to stick to a magnum and practice accuracy. If you can’t aim, your going to lose no matter what. I practice that I get an average (around here) 12+ kill games. Second is to go into something ranked like snipers/FFA. Snipers, again, is there for accuracy increase, and FFA is for getting better at one on one encounters (if get get double ganged, I can’t help you. Use grenades or try to pull off a ninja attempt? I might make a ninja skills tip forum page, let me know if you want me to make one). Third would be to go into a custom game with a friend better than you so they can give you tips, or you can learn from your mistakes. Last would be to go to theater and watch your clips to see what you did wrong or how the best player in the game performed.
Hope this helps, let me know!
The thing to remember is that no two Halo games have anything in common except the title (yes, even the Bungie titles). And what that means is that you need to go into any given title expecting to have to re-learn the game from the ground up. There is no carry-over from any one title to the next, and by the time you’re two or three titles apart in the line up, they bear almost no resemblance to one and other. Guns change completely from game to game. Aiming mechanisms change. Magnetism and aim assist change. Grenade trajectories change. Melee characteristics (angle of attack, range, etc.) change. Motion mechanics? Change, change, change. And as a general rule, these things all change in favor of complexity and higher difficulty.
So all that said: Shed your expectations that anything you learned in an older game will have any utility in the next. Shed any expectation that since you were good at one title then you can probably be good at all of them. Just generally shed all expectations of continuity since there is none. And then be patient with yourself while you learn the new game. If you can learn the new game. Plenty of people walked away shaking their heads so don’t be too hard on yourself if you find that you want to do the same.
Consume a ton of caffeine so you don’t have to blink. You’ll have a 0.013sec advantage over everyone.
Find your suitable sensivity, could practice in warzone or try out your skills with each weapon in Super Fiesta, lastly, you could try out evading or getting use to the thrusters.i
Basic halo 5 tips
- stay with your team
- team shoot
3)find your sweet spot sensitivity
4)don’t run into a 2v1 situation if you do bail as fast as you can
5)pay attention to the map and where people are (you can predict spawns) - when your teammates gamer tag turns yellow he’s in a gunfight go help him ( I find so many randoms that ignore it)
7)practice some jumps look it up on YouTube it will help you get out of so many situation or get to help your team8 in time. - when opening packs start with bronze, silver then gold fastest way to unlock everything you will know when you have everything because you will get req points back.
- pay attention to the time for when the power up spawns
- don’t run around the map looking for a fight take your time. Because you can’t shoot when you run and most people are tunnel visioned when sprinting mainly the lower ranks like diamond and below.
its not all about your shot, but you must know how to predict spawns on maps. Like truth alright. If u stand at bottom blue, they will spawn either at red bend, bottom tower 1, red bubble and red bottom and top of red base. In this situation push together as a team and fly at them. Your whole team would dominate the whole game as well. Try to keep a spread positioning, so if ur team mates see a person they will make a callout and you can get one person to support that person, if they can’t crap on the kid.
Make sure you learn your strafes really well, and know when to add thrusts and jumps to your strafe. Train your shot to a decent enough caliber. Maybe an 8 out of 10 and practice sniping as well. Very useful when you need no scopes to happen. Most of all don’t kill your team mates xD.
Spray with AR since they -Yoinked!- with the balance on that weapon again. I get headshotted up the -Yoink- with that weapon from p2 of truth all the way from blue window. nice. How can a weapon of that caliber be so accurate? Who’s been -Yoinking!- about the AR? people, who suck at perfecting with a pistol? fken sakes.
Play Warzone Firefight
Oof, PapaLubie getting as annoyed as I do at ARs, glad I’m not the only one.
The servers are not good so don’t expect consistency from game to game. If you dominate one game don’t be surprised your bullets don’t register the next.

Don’t do it! It’s not worth it! Don’t waste your money!
- use noob combos I know they are cheap but they work.
- in warzone go for boss kills it boasts your personal score a lot
- don’t buy REQ packs its not worth it
4.on controls turn off assassinations, this ill make it so you kill the player faster - Don’t get sad if you suck at first its normal just try adjusting your look sensitivity and acceleration
just try and have fun that is my best advice
