Any tips for a broken disc?

Im well aware that this is most likely futile, but Id like to hopefully get some tips on ways to fix my Reach disc. It has a crack on the inner circle, but its not that big. The problem is my Xbox doesnt read it, even though its installed to my HD. Any hints other than buy a new one are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had the exact same problem as you except I didn’t install it to my HDD because at that time I was using the onboard 4GB from my Slim. I have an HDD now and I bought the limited edition Halo Reach game and installed it and their are no problems now as far as cracks and scratches. My old broken Reach disc is still sitting in the case. The best case for you would be to buy another copy.

what ever you do do not use tape to cover the crack I speak from experiance.

What? Its send you to a youtube video about how to clean discs. His name is household hacker (Hes named that b/c he takes random household objects and makes cool things out of them. Trust me, also, i like to put the link so people know it safe, its take you to youtube, dont worry.

Nope. It sends you to a video showing you how to dirty a disc in order to repair it. Hilarious to watch, but I seriously doubt that’s going to work.

I suggest putting in your Halo 3 disc :wink:
