does anyone have any idea on what or who we might be on co-op?

It might be a rebel faction or something.
Someone asked this same question at Halofest, and the answer he got was “Uhhhhh…”

Well as Frankie said no purple then I guess Thel is out =(
I’m guessing we get another copy of the chief (as in CE) and two forerunners.
Forerunners would be sweat. But so far John clones are most likely.
I think it’d be cool if Player 1 is Chief and everyone else is their Multiplayer model, like Noble 6 in Reach.

Sangheili =/= Covenant.
I’m assuming the Glasslands trilogy will somehow tie the Spartan IIs that were on Onyx to the Master Chief. We will get MC in MK VII, Kelly in MK VI, Fred in MK V, and probably a Spartan III in SPI or MK V**.**
What if it was a ODST or a Marine? Just throw in special health packs or something. Of course they probably wouldn’t as last long in a fire fight or jump as high as a Master Chief but I think it could still work if they made little adjustments for co op… just a idea.
Also, the Arbiter is black, and so is his voice actor. Purple != Black
We’ll probably just play as four different Masterchiefs. Or, the other 3 players will be there own character that they use in multiplayer and firefight.
I honestly wouldn’t mind having everyone be MC like the first two games. They did that for ODST as well.
My guess is that we’ll play as identical Chiefs just like in Halo CE until we find an ally (maybe another Spartan?).

I think there was something hinted (by which I mean very strongly hinted) that Thel Vadam would make an appearance. I certainly hope so, he’s one of the best characters.
I could care less what the model is, I just want the atrocious co-op lag gone.

Actaully in their new book Glasslands in explains that their are more Spartans, very well alive after Halo 3. Either they found some that lived or they made more I’m unsure. But I think we can expect new Spartan characters. Also the Arbiter is alive, we might not play as him but don’t expect him not to make an appearance.
