Any suggestions for a DMR Replacement?

Hi all,

I enjoy the DMR because it suits my play style. I like maintaining a healthy distance between my and my prey.

I am thinking about quitting the DMR but I am torn between

Light Rifle

Battle Rifle

Carbine

Any suggestions?

The main concern that I have with the LR is real world performance. Does the lag that occasionally plagues Halo massively affects the LR’s effectiveness?

Lag will destroy the light rifle…Unless you are my brother who always has to play 3 player split screen and is good with the light rifle. He can aim the Light rifle in split screen lag

Quit the DMR for a while and use the light rifle. The light rifle will sharpen aim, while the DMR’s magnetism might actually lower your aim…

I would go with the Battle Rifle. Besides, 343 has upped the damage on it.

I am going to change my loadouts tonight and see how it goes!

try light rifle, it’s difficult to use at first but then you’ll get used to it, I use it with the storm rifle

Not in matchmaking, they haven’t, yet. It’ll be at least a couple weeks before we see any of the changes mentioned in the bulletin, if they are implemented at all.

Otherwise I say LR. She’s very satisfying to use once you get the hang of her :wink:

for what u say then…change to Light Rifle

but i don’t know i think the BR is a better weapon

Actually that’s false.

The Lightrifle has the fastest kill time out of all the precision weapons when SCOPED in. The best strategy to use is to do a single Zoomed in body shot and then the rest unscoped head shots. You’ll kill faster than a DMR.

That is what I heard,

I am looking forward to practicing the scope shot, followed by unscoped shots to the body and a final shot to the head.

Let’s see how what works.

You could always double up and use two primary rifles in a loadout.
