Title states it all: Has it been confirmed whether or not the Plasma rifle will be making a return? Or will they pull another Halo 4 Elite model/ SoS incident and just give the Arbiters Elites Storm Rifles? Because at this point it seems as if 343 completely disregarded the allied Elites and just gave them the exact same traits and design as the Storm Covenant. sigh
The storm rifle was being used on Sanghelios before Jul ever had a faction. Pretty sure the armory that makes them is even based there.
If anything its Jul’s guys that should be using the old plasma rifle.
I’d like to see the Plasma Rifle return I like that Covenant weapon better than the Storm rifle

Yep
All Plasma Rifles were destroyed in Operation off-screen.
Most useless weapons in Halo 4 =
Storm Rifle and the suppressor. And let’s not forget the massively nerfed grenades that have got even weaker each Halo game
