Hello, I was wondering if you guys would think 343 would ever give out “secret” armor throughout the years of Halo 4? Kinda like how recon was given out to players that did extraordinary things in Halo 3 before ODST came out.

You would have thought, but alas, there appears not to be. I guess we can hope for armor to be added in future updates. I hope they had the foresight to make this a possibility.
There’s probably an armour for completing every commendation.
Anything is possible. I wonder if Map packs will come with some armor sets…
Not trying to be condescending but if there were some secret armor do you think they’d tell people in a forum post?
But i seriously hope they bring back an equivalent to Hyabusa, security and recon though i doubt alot of people would go after them because most of the armor they have are so unique there seems to be a several for many

It’s called Raider.
Well you have the Raider armor that you need to unlock in Waypoint and they add a new code to descifrate:

I mean unlockable wise, not aesthetics wise, like maybe patch in items you have to find in the campaign.

How many people focused on attempting to get all of the achievements completed related to the Halo series before 4 came out?
How many people did so because of what was given in terms of Recon armor with 3 multiplayer and/or the extra 7 pieces one earned from achievements in the other games combined with Reach from Waypoint for Reach?
I’m bummed. I really thought that there would be more.

Its the code for the Helmet. I unlocked it about 2 weeks ago

I already had all the achievements on my main account before 343 took over the franchise. Had them all since 2 weeks after Halo CEA was released lol.

That’s old, don’t know why they reposted it… it’s for the raider helmet
If they told you, it wouldn’t be a secret
They said there is something for hitting level cap. Although the level cap is so damn low in this game, it really disapoints me.

Hayabusa was so much better looking than Raider.

Bummer, I was hoping something new 
There are 5 exclusive helmets (Fotus, Locus, Deadeye, Strider, Scanner), and exclusive skins from pre-orders etc., so they could always end up giving those away eventually.
The only real hidden item is a skin, and it’s only leftover code, even if 343 tried to select it no one else would see it (a Locus helmet skin, vertical stripe secondary color instead of the X).
What about the EOD Shadow armor? I know it’s just a skin, but has anybody figured this one out yet? Some sites said it was Hail to the King commendation mastery unlock. But there is no HttK commendation…
