Any recommendations?

I recently played Halo 3 for the first time in YEARS. It brought back all those incredible memories of the old Halo games and actually made me bring out the ol’ Xbox to play the original Halo games.

One thing I remember about playing Halo 3 for the first time was being like “Wow the graphics are incredible!”
I swear to God, I have never felt the same way about any recent games. (Black ops 3/Halo 5 I’m looking at you)

PLEASE, someone recommend any games that might renew this feeling? Single player, Multiplayer; I don’t care. I just need a game I can get stuck into, because Halo 5 just isn’t for me.

I just want that WOW factor back in gaming. Nothing original these days.

Maybe Halo 2 Anniversary’s campaign? I found the graphics in H2A to be quite pretty. But if you’ve already played it, I can’t be much help.

Star Wars Battlefront looks amazing graphics wise. So does the Division and a lot of upcoming games releasing in unreal engine.

Sadly OP, cartoon art style is in just now. Uber realistic games aren’t going to be around nearly as much.

Not necessarily looking for graphics, gameplay is more important.
Hey, I liked borderlands and that is as far away from realistic as it gets, right?

If you like competition but not necessarily the way Halo 5’s Arena plays, you can hop on Reach, Competition is always stirring about, I cannot get into any other game so devotedly as I do with Halo: Reach. Graphics are nice and there’s always something to do, whether competing in Matchmaking or relaxing in customs, your time gaming will be well spent (:

Gears of War 1
Bioshock
Try those.

Reach was the best for that gritty texture for vanilla and DLC maps. the maps wit h5 are just too damn small for my taste.

Mcc (cant beat halos original trilogy.) minecraft kind of gives me that old feeling, halo wars even though the multiplayer lags, or pull out that game boy advance or download a free emulater and play metroid zero mission. Or honestly if theres an old game that you had fun playing then just play it again.
