Any reason why Halo 2 PC is excluded?

On the profile page, it shows the total amount of Halo gamerscore a player has accumulated, but why does it exclude Halo 2 PC? They explicitly state that the score does not include Halo 2 PC achievements, but it is puzzling that they could track an extra 1000g, but choose not too. Any one know why?

Halo 2 PC does not connect to Xbox Live therefore all achievements earned in it will not be unlocked. Same the the Spartan Assault games on steam

Halo 2 PC achievements are connected through windows live which adds gamerscore to your profile just the same as Xbox live does. Halo 2 PC achievements count towards gamerscore

Yah, even though I don’t have Halo 2 pc, it is still strange why they left it out

No, H2V does, in fact, connect to Xbox Live. If you check the XBL profile of a person who plays H2V, you’ll see the achievements from it on their profile as well as their gamerscore being affected by it.

Which begs the question of why was it purposely excluded? 343i is aware it exists, they even mentioned they exclude it from the score.
