Imo should be added in by now, unify the playerbase and lets get these epic forge maps in the game
mcc is an older engine
There are plenty of reasons.
- The game is massive - Adding another engine (this one the most modern) to be running at the same time would be very taxing when they already have something like 9 engines running at a time currently. - The Req system would need to be fully re-worked. - It would not be present in the console MCC for the reasons above. - They would need to do a proper PC port, which they have already said is not happening at the moment.
I would love a PC port. Seams a shame to limit pc players to all campaigns except Halo 5.

Pretty much these. Still, I knew about points 1,2, and 5, but why do you think the Req system would need to be reworked? Is it because of how MCC does its season passes?
It would be a huge disappointment if 343i decided to add Halo 5 to the MCC: 1. The game is nearly 100 gigabytes; 2. The game has a more modern engine than what MCC has compared to all of the legacy engines that each game holds; 3. Do you know how much of a nightmare it would be to integrate all of Halo 5 onto PC? Not to -Yoink- on anyones parade but I don’t see Halo 5 being ANYWHERE close to coming near the progress of where MCC is. Plus, 343i is going to be developing and updating Halo Infinite for the next 10 years. Lets face it, Halo 5: Guardians, that game deserves to be forgotten by the gaming community.

They would need a method in MCC to earn the consumable unlocks like the warzone weapons, mainly.

Ah, got it. Thanks!
Because there is no point of porting a whole 100GB game when it still has a good population in it, if you want to play Halo 5 just launch Halo 5
But it would be cool for them to add it Halo 5 on Steam for PC players to have a feel of it but I don’t see 343 putting the time in doing that
Size of the game
I don’t get this “Size of the game” arguement. MCC is modular. Don’t want it? Don’t install it. MCC isn’t an engine, it’s a hub. It doesn’t have every game engine running at the same time, that would be insane. It just calls each engine and passes the settings you choose.
Anyway, a better reason is the REQ system versus the MCC season pass system.
I’d love to see Halo 5 on PC. I know it will come, just not right now.
