Both seem the fire at the same rate. Is there any real difference between the two? Correct me if I’m mistaken but they took out the three round burst when zoomed in right?(Just for MP)
DMR is semi-automatic. It’s a 5sk weapon.
Light rifle fires 3 bursts when unscoped, fires 1 powerfull when scoped.
5sk unscoped, 4sk in scope.
DMR shoots single shot no matter what. 5 shot kill.
Light Rifle is 3 round burst unscoped, 5 burst kill. And Single Shot scoped, 4 shot kill.
Which might make it a little bit better overall than both the DMR and BR.

Pretty much this. I did notice that the Light Rifle was (to me) a tad bit harder to use than the BR/DMR. Less aim assist maybe? The gun melts people though, pretty strong.
4sk when scoped? So it’ll be a great weapon to use with the Rouge MOD
