Hello all, I’ve bought Bad Blood but haven’t read any novels/comics past Halo: Fractures (Sept. 2016); (Smoke & Shadow, Envoy, Retribution, Legacy of Onyx, or the Atriox comics, etc.), do I need to read any of those first? Are there any characters/storylines I’ll miss out on?)
I have read New Blood, played all the games & everything else in the Halo universe, just not after late-2016.

They are not vital to Bad Blood. Only stuff that may “help” a lot on Bucks narrative are the following.
But note they aint vital to enjoying the book.
