Any plans for Halo 4 update before MCC hits?

wondering if Halo 4 will get some matchmaking playlist updates before/alongside the MCC release, since it is part of it?

Will it release with more playlists? Legendary Slayer, Ricochet, Multi-team, (+ Other rotationals)

Other than that, I’ve seen the huge improvements to H4 playlists, and I’d like to say these are the playlists that should have launched Day One. GJ to Bravo and the matchmaking playlist team for that.

Like in Call of Duty, once a new game draws near or is already release the previous game will basically be kicked to the side. Since this is Halo 4, 343 will kick it will beyond where a soccer player can hit.

Well, “kicking it” to the side doesn’t necessarily mean abandoning it, so I would imagine there would still be new rotating playlists every once and awhile and new challenges to help keep things fresh. As far as brand new DLC maps, armor, armor abilities(AA), etc. I would have to agree with you on that by saying no.

I would imagine 343 is done with Halo 4 for Xbox 360. Don’t expect the glitched achievements (been broken for 13 months) to be fixed or new playlists.

I’m with you, I would love to see new playlists and one last TU to make the game 100%'able on achievements. One employee maintaining this game could literally raise the appeal for Halo’s future through the roof. Sad.

Even a simple voting poll every 2 weeks to select a rotational playlist would be great. Heck… once a month. Anything…

yeah, but MCC contains H4. So they’re not really abandoning it lol IMO it’s like a second chance to get H4 in a proper state on release, since their first H4 release was sort of ‘less than satisfactory’.

They can increase SR level cap, they can make CSR (their version of TrueSkill) rank visible in-game, they can add non-AA playlists, they can fix matchmaking lobby so if there are 6 players it becomes 3v3 not 4v2 – or wait until there is a full 8 and not rely on JiP to fill in the rest.

They can remove RANDOM ordnance drops, or make it based on killstreaks instead of scorestreaks.
