E3 is gonna be a major event for Infinite and we’re gonna see a lot there. However, that’s basically 5 months away, quite a while. Do you think we may get some images or possible vidocs before E3 or do you think it’ll be relatively silent until then?
I’d expect a small teaser at the most, but not expect much more than that. Whether or not we’ll get one though is another matter.
I could definitely see some pictures being released being E3, but I’m expecting all the big stuff to be at E3 (glad Microsoft still goes, still one of the biggest gaming events in the world and people forget that A LOT of non gamers, both people and media, take notice of things there too, a lot of publicity there. Not impressed that Sony and Nintendo don’t go anymore really) like gameplay trailers for single and MP. So I doubt it…but who knows. Microsoft did unveil their new system recently, which I thought was a terrible idea to do then but that’s me, so yeah… LoL
A ViDoc or first episode of a Sprint-esque dev diery would be most welcome. I still remember the first ViDoc Bungie released post-Halo 3’s announcement and how we gobbled up every small tease of a character model or concept art.
I don’t want any ViDocs before release. Or else they might let the last page of the script leak. Again.
In last month’s news update, 343i stated something like “the Halo hype train isn’t slowing down at all in 2020”.
What that translates to me is that the community will be getting SOMETHING substantive within the first few months of 2020. Personally I’m expecting an expose by one of the major gaming outlets (IGN, Game Informer, etc) within the next few months to help build hype going into E3 where we will get the proper campaign reveal.
As for the multiplayer flighting, that SHOULD start happening within the next few months. We’re 10 months from launch (assuming November release) and we’re not even sure when it’s going to start. Halo 5 testing started 10 months before launch, but was announced like 14 months before launch, and the multiplayer is almost universally considered the strong part of that game.
Maybe idk

Assuming that the hype train is currently at maximum velocity and has not been providing many updates, the continuing speed means we may get more of the same. If anything, the hype train should pull into a station somewhere and unload some juicy cargo.
Bread crumbs probably. Maybe some Concept art, and a few carefully worded teases by Frankie and others. But I wouldn’t expect much at all until E3. Honestly, I’d be surprised if We got something substantial as a GI article or 343i BTS video before E3. It could happen but I’m not counting on it.
We’re getting behind the scenes in terms of the audio for infinite. It’s a little unsettling that they’re trying to drop everything last minute.
