The current CTF mode is set up as Multiflag with the setting either hidden or done away with from previous halo games. 1-Flag and neutral flag are unsupported as of right now.
To do 1 flag, youd have to literally bury the flag of 1 base about 10-15 feet underground and extend the top to where u want the flag to capture and just have players somewhat guess where it caps. This method works because the “defending” team cant take the offense teams flag. Have the round end after 1 cap and do 2 rounds, then at game over, switch teams and repeat. Or just do honor rules and keep both there?

thats realy crap… just made an awesome 1 flag map…
well i hope they come up with 1flag soon… cuz this is un acceptable
There are two methods in this thread: http://www.halocustoms.com/threads/1-flag-ctf.6924/
The second one (which I figured out, thanks to the first method) works really well and is easy to set up. See the picture in the second post. It’s not completely perfect, but it definitely works. My friends and I have been playing tons of 1 flag, and it is awesome.
And of course make sure your gametypes have a minimum of 2 rounds. To give each team a chance at offense. Thankfully at least the map switches sides for each round. It’s amazing that works, yet 343 still hasn’t given us any real asymmetric gametypes.
Aaaand Halocustoms.com is currently having issues, sorry about that, it WAS working a minute ago. Some jerk keeps attacking the website.
Keep trying the link, and hopefully it will be up in a little bit.
I did happen to come across an accidental version of it. We had a custom CTF going during a party I had a month ago. My team was blue and the other was cyan. The game started and only one flag was visible. The other one was non-existent. This was on adrift. We thought it was a glitch, but we did another one to be sure it wasn’t one and it happened again. Hope this helps and works if you try it.

…I never thought of that. And if you put it on rounds do the teams switch sides, or do you have to go back to the lobby after each round?
Thnx all ill try it out… when i do Custom sundays for my stream… hope i got it fixed by then…

Wait, how did you get Cyan team on CTF? It only allows Red, Blue, Green, and Gold. There’s no way you can have Cyan?

Bump. I seriously want to know.
