Any one having connection problems right now?

So I was playing with no issues at all. Stop for some pancakes and now I can’t seem to get a game anywhere… In triple team we get to 8 players and then it times out… Has happened three times in a row including after a hard reset. So then I try warzone firefight and turbo and they lost connection to the red screen of death… Am I alone in this? I have been making good dents in my remaining 14 million XP I need.

I have and it’s annoying, especially when you have been waiting a while for enough players to start a match. The last few days I have disconnected randomly mid-game a few times. I’ve also experienced myself and other players ‘teleport’ to different parts of the map. Sometimes shots don’t register and seemingly cause body shots despite my aiming cursor directly on the players head. This is really frustrating in ranked play. Feels bad when you disconnect from a game you are winning with a legendary boost, complete waste.

It does seem extra laggy today.

8 hours from your original post and it’s happening to me now. Guess 343 took the weekend off…

Sadly it’s a long term problem, occassional freeze up too.

Yeah it was a extra bumpy day today it seemed. I was just going to play one more game but it froze so I was like guess I am done now :slightly_smiling_face:. Gonna be rough grinding out my remaining XP.

Yeh same, sadly I’ve kind of got to used to it. Kind of lost track of how many times I’ve had to reset the game or wait 5 or 10 minutes for a game, sometimes playlists even say “low population” oddly on warzone turbo.

For me, it was between 1-3 in the morning ET. Experienced the same issues everyone else has been talking about. It was a bit frustrating, but manageable.
I wonder if it’s more prevalent during WZ Turbo weekends or every weekend?

Doubtful, been playing a lot of the game, generally I’ve noticed this type of thing happens daily, even before Turbo plus the bugs, crashes and server time-outs have become more common. The general condition of Halo 5 servers have been getting worse for a while.

More likely as population goes down it will get a bit worse as players become more spread out to make games.

Maybe but I don’t think the population was the problem since the servers have been acting up for the last couple of years since a few months after launch the servers kind of got worse plus I can’t even think of the last time they put the servers down for maintenance. I remember at launch games times would be barely minutes and a few months later the servers started acting up and well it just never recovered from the population increase and I’ve noticed longer load times and frequent time-outs, unusual glitches like games being loaded in the background of the main menu. As for low population I think this might be becoming a more recent thing since I did play a bit of Turbo earlier this month and I did get a rare low population warning since it was unable to find players, yet oddly a reset of the search and I found a game nearly instantly.

I tend to play late my time, so usually I’m getting matched in with players from the west coast or Latin America. Other times, I’ve been dropped into matches all ready in progress, so it seems finding new matches tends to depend on the number of players online at the time, or the servers trying to fill matches.
Was online recently trying to knock out some ranked Doubles and it took forever to find a match. I guess that playlist is not as popular as Slayer.
