Any one else sick of waiting

“We showed a hint of what we have in store at E3 last year and we’re excited to share more in the not-so-distant future.”

3 months later and still.

Nothing.

look i know they’re busy trying to make the game as best as possible but this is really getting out of hand.
i know i have started to loose a lot of interest. the hype is all but dead and us fans (atleast me lol) have completely put halo out of our radar. sure i sometimes check on it but that leaves me less excited all the time.

it would be wise to give us a small teaser, or say a countdown till an info drop. which should be before E3, which is about 2 months away.

anyway i really hope 343 will give us something soon, before E3, at least a small update.

Sure waiting is a pain but means many of us can save up money, well I’d rather they not rush it like with H4 plus maybe the wait is probably for the best plus E3 isn’t far away now and if the rumors are true that I have heard then it should be a pretty good E3. I just hope they announce a H5 LE console since been hoping they do one…

Yes! and if they don’t let us know anything, I might just leave Halo… but come back later perhaps

No, actually. It’s the next Halo. By now we should all roughly know what that means (without having the devs explain it via any sort of PR material.)

Normally this would be true, but Halo 5 is the one case where it isn’t. Halo 4 left a lot of bad tastes in many mouths. Regardless of whether or not you liked the game, you have to admit to that.

As such, Halo 5 could very well make or break the franchise for a lot of people, and they really should start telling us what to expect, clearly and to the point from the beginning so we as a community can offer our opinions. That’s something they said they would improve upon, but at the moment?

We don’t even know what the game called! We know literally nothing, less than nothing. They’ve been more ambiguous than ever, which, as a fan of Halo 4, even I recognize as not being a good sign.

You also have to admit that for Halo Reach, Halo 3, Halo 2, and in some respect Halo 1. Each and every Halo game has had critical conceptual issues which ruined it, in a technical sense, for a noticeable segment of its population. It’s simply that the trend (which can be briefly summarized as “eroding mob appeal”) has been going on for long enough that the cumulative effect on the population is much more easily noticeable in Halo 4.

I’m expecting something near the end of this month, or very early next month. If nothing new is shown by then, then E3 is the only thing that’s going to show something new.

Tbf, they did have a period where they were pretty active with regards to asking for feedback. They have said they have learned a lot, and perhaps they’re so quiet because the pressure is very high. They want to get this right because they understand the stakes, and that means a lot of silence on our part. As painful a wait as it is, I’d rather that when they do show us what they’ve been doing…they show us. They slap us good and proper with their plans for the future, and leave little ambiguity afterwards. It’s better than some comments here, and some comments there.

I enjoyed Halo 4, too, but recognize where they could do much better, and I pray that they do address the concerns of so many fans. If what they show doesn’t have the desired effect at E3, then Master Chief help us all. Judging by the hires that have been noted over the months, I think it will be positive.

It’s already been stated that we’ll have to wait until E3.

Source? I haven’t been paying close attention, I very likely missed that one. If it’s true I have to say I’m disappointed. Normally we at least know what the game is by this point.

Here. It wasn’t explicitly stated that no news will be released before E3, but I think that’s a reasonable inference to make.

dont get your hopes up dude.going to be at e3 sadly. i highly doubt that it will be any sooner.
