Fyi; This is only for Warzone, the freezes are almost none existent in any other playlist.
I brought this topic up in a party chat with my mates recently, in regards on how often their game has been freezing recently.
To get an idea of this, it’s as if your walking around, and out of no where the screen freezes for maybe, 2 - 4 seconds, then comes back to normal.
We’ve actually had a few theories and thoughts on this on what it could be or why it’s happening.
Usually we thought it was people Leaving or Connecting to the game that caused everyone to stop, but they’re dedicated servers, so there would be no need for a host migration to cause a sudden freeze.
We thought it might be a connection ourselves, but as I said, any other playlist work’s fine, it seems to be just Warzone in particular. And ill admit, my connection gets shotty every so often, but that’ll actually just cause me to rubber band, not completely freeze entirely.
We even had thoughts that maybe it was REQ’s in the game, like too many people spawning a weapon, vehicle or boost at once that causes a freeze, but that would cause a freeze for the team, not just one person.
It’s weird because when I play with my FireTeam, everyone randomly gets it once or twice in the game, not all at once but everyone individually.
Just questioning if any one else gets this as well?
Info: We all play in AUS/NZ just to clarify, some countries might not experience this or know what Im talking about.
Yeah I experienced this quite a bit last night in Arena (I’m from the UK) also saw players teleporting and rubber banding etc, it was really laggy which wasn’t good to say we were playing qualifying matches. The games had issues from day one with its connections.
