I got de ranked a few months back by bungie for doing nothing wrong and when i asked they said sorry theirs nothing they can do and was wondering now that 343 has taken over anyone know if theirs a way to message someone to ask about maybe getting my rank back. Let me know if this happend to you.
If you’ve been de-ranked you obviously did something against the rules. Accidental or otherwise it’s still on your shoulders and you must take responsibility for it.
May have been a friend who was messing around on your account, may have been a brother, sister, cousin. Doesn’t matter, all Bungie/343 see is that it’s on your account.
The chances of you getting your rank back are very slim if I’m going to be honest because there are many reasons for being de-ranked in the first place and if you even fall into one of those categories with 343 then you will stay de-ranked.
Just because Halo is owned by 343 now doesn’t mean people get free passes, the policies that Bungie practiced are still in-use by 343.
If you truly and wholeheartedly feel that you got the de-rank unfairly I would recommend either posting in the “Why was I banned” section. While it’s mostly bans there you may get an answer. If not, I would suggest Private Messaging BS Angel as she may be able to give you some clarity.
Once again though I must stress that even if it isn’t your fault your account would still fall under your responsibility.
