Just curious if ANY posts on this forum are responded by ANY 343 employee or official representative. I feel like everyone who posts with legitimate concern with the game is somewhat ignored. Many players share the same opinion here, so I’m sure some of these topics should be taken a little seriously. If the players can’t be viewed as a community, it should, at the very least, be viewed as a valued customer source. Most of these posts are repeated threads because there are hardly any type of response from 343 on any of them, so the only way to get some attention is by constantly repeating the same message over and over. How many “radar is too small” threads will there be made until 343 starts replying to these posts? That’s just an example. This isn’t a radar bashing post. But my point stands.
I’ve seen Josh Holmes reply to a post on here, so they do sometimes.

I suppose you can’t blame them if they’re at least trying to communicate with the community. Maybe there are just too many posts to see constant response after response? It would still be appreciated, though.
Once in a blue moon Josh Holmes comes around, and they say that they look at them… but I don’t fully believe that.

They barely use this site. They’re on Neogaf, Twitter, and Reddit more than their OWN SITE…

I believe they look at them. Whether they care or not is a different story.

Yeah, I wish they would also reveal more about the updates before they’re released. I think that would make the community feel like they are actually listening. Or they could just say something about the gamemodes, that would probably tell the community that we’ve been heard.

Agreed.
343i responds more than any develper I’ve seen, though they usually do it on Twitter and Reddit (Bravo is always quick to respond on Reddit).
Every once in while, Josh Holmes responds here, but for some reason this is the place they listen to the least. My guess is that this happens because 99% of the threads here are nothing but hate and negativity. Reddit has hate posts to, but in general, posts there are more critical and less whiny.
On the forums, the Forum Team are pretty active in Support and responses come from some of the Waypoint dev team as well. One of the test engineers was active for a good while helping out with Halo Channel issues.

But that’s only for a little while before returning to whatever 343 tec guys do. Waypoint seems to be more like a very ignored and very dusty book that only gets picked up on a very rare occasion just to see how many hits it gotten. Other than that waypoint is barley touched by devs and 343 employees. It reminds me of how my former lazy admins on my pages used to treat the pages (till I booted them). If you can’t be a mature responsible steward than you can’t be one of my admins and therefore can not work on my pages.
It it appears that 343 just likes the fame of being thee company or the guy that works for that one big company everyone knows. It’s more like a title to show off rather than a title that they actually work on and strive to earn each day.
I’d have to say that sure 343 have the title of developers of next gen Halo titles. But Bungie created Halo and they owned it. 343 hasn’t been much of a steward of Halo… Sure they create it and next gen titles of Halo but I haven’t seen them actually stand up and own it.

Umm did you guys read the Opening Statements Update. They definantly talked about gametypes. So yes you have been heard.
