Hi there,
having been completely underwhelmed by the Reach ranking system and its lack of ranked playlists, I am actually not entirely sure if I will be buying this new game. After all, I loved halo 3 and all the ranked playlists, eg. Lone Wolves and SWAT as I felt that I could try my competiive hand at several gametypes and it gave me motivation to improove as a player. However, with Reach only hvaing TS as an Arena playlist, I am very bored of it already and have no incentive to play (especially as it was one of my worst playlists!)
So is there any news on the Ranked Playlist front? I don’t want to be spending my money pre-ordering the game only to be stuck with little ranked matchmaking choice and be confined to the social games only!

Anniversary’s Multiplayer will be Reach’s Multiplayer.
Nothing will change, Arena will still be there.

Nobody knows what format arena will take though. It’s not confirmed that “nothing will change”.
There could be some changes for Arena. Perhaps 343 could add objective gametypes, more slayer variants?

I hope so, just not going to commit myself when I am unsure whether this will happen or not. Especially as the awesome Zelda game is coming out at roughly the same time!

Objective + Slayer in Arena?! I’d totally maul that! …in a good way…
They could add 1-50 in the classic playlist they have for the new maps. Never gonna happen of course.
