I haven’t frequented for awhile so forgive me if it’s been discussed recently. I’ve searched a few times and have only seen a thread from 2020.
Is there any chatter about a Special Edition console, yet? Last I heard, it was unconfirmed.
I’ve seen Infinite ready to purchase at Best Buy. The Series X is STILL Sold Out, though. I’m willing to wait, but I wonder if you’ve heard anything.

Special console is impossible with the shortage and manufacturing issues.
It’s a good question and I am also interested, but as mentioned above its very unlikely atm due to logistical issues. There is a pretty good discussion about exactly this already going on over in this thread here, feel free to check it out if your looking for further insight on the topic.

The vaccine is becoming more readily available so hopefully production will go back to normal in the coming months. I’m still holding out for a special edition console.
