I was pretty miffed at 343 when they didn’t include a flying vehicle for the UNSC, but seeing as how it’s been nearly 6 months from release, do we have any news on the subject?

Well, after I saw the Hornet on Skyline, i was hoping to see it…but i guess not.

I think our only hope for a UNSC flying vehicle would be as part of a multiplayer/campaign extension… like ODST was to Halo 3.
Actually I kind of like that idea. The disk could include all existing DLC, new DLC, existing & new spartan ops, and some multiplayer goodies.
They cannot add new vehicles into the game. Simple. Sorry to rain on your parade, but I’m pretty sure most of us have had it up to here with vehicle request threads 4 months after the game has been released.

Actually, they can. They can’t add new vehicles or weapons to existing maps, but they can include new vehicles with DLC maps. So there is a chance we could see a UNSC air vehicle with a future map pack (assuming there’s more after Castle) or in Spartan Ops, Season 2.
Also, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with requesting new vehicles. I’d like to see either the Falcon or Hornet return, myself… and the Covenant couls use more vehicle as well, especially in Spartan Ops. Not to mention vehcles in general need an overhaul, considering how underpowered they are…
