It’s been a very long time since the playlist had been updated. I think we can all agree that it’s somewhat annoying especially since only 3 of the maps that are in the current playlist are actaully still used in MLG v6. Now im not blaming 343 for not updating the playlist. Because it could very by MLG’s fault. But at least some information on it would be apprieciated because I play MLG a lot and I practice for events and so on. And playing on gametypes that are 6 months old is very very annoying. Please somebody! Update the playlist!

its zb with no magnums on map or as secondary. 110 movement and jump and 150 gravity. It plays so clean.

but I added a radar for customs because it can be frustrating without one, (ive always hated slayer pro and mlg for those settings)
The only thing I heard was that they are having meetings abot MLG. Hopefully that means an update soon.

I’m expecting an updated MLG playlist for the November Playlist update. Should be a large update to the playlists for the future.

Ive been playing halo for almost 8 years, I have 100bpr, 2.0kd, and 20% onyx on reach.
I also have a 1.95kd and 85% w/l in the zb playlist (premium slayer)
how am I a noob? because I need a radar to play? its a good callout assist and makes powerweapons have a better edge. (reinforeces map control)
KillaKC (MLG’s gametype tester/coordinator) posted on his twitter that he doesn’t want to bother 343 with updating it until he’s fully tested zero-bloom.
No point in updating now if he realizes in 2 weeks that they won’t even use bloom and then everyone has to wait AGAIN for it to be updated.

If you have 20% Onyx, I wouldn’t even bother mentioning BPR… it’s absurdly easy to get 100, so it’s kind of like saying that you own an Echo and then casually mentioning that you also have a Lamborghini.
KillaKC is out of touch with a lot of the actual MLG player base. His word should not be taken as scripture by any means. The playlist should be updated ASAP with the most current gametypes. Many of the gametypes in the playlist are no longer even in consideration for the circuit. For demonstration, here are the current official MLG gametype/map pairings, with the ones that are actually in the playlist in bold:
Slayer–Countdown, Zealot, Sanctuary, Oasis, The Pit
King of the Hill–Oasis, Nexus* (Note on Nexus: there is a new version of Nexus that has a significant new jump from mid-gap to the top of gold bridge. This isn’t there in the playlist version.)
Capture the Flag–The Pit, Zealot, Countdown, Sanctuary,
So 4 out of the 11 current gametypes aren’t available in the playlist, plus one that’s a little different because of the change on Nexus.
Please update the playlist!
This needs to be looked into.
Can someone bother to explain WHY aren’t the playlist updates done ASAP? In my personal opinion I think the MLG playlist should be updated monthly. Is it a pain in the neck to update the playlist with the proper gametypes?
I mean, I wouldn’t imagine changing the playlist’s gametypes should take over 30 minutes…?
