It’s good to be back and I’ve noticed there’s been a few updates since and I was wondering if an easier way of racking up mongoose destructions came with them.
Nope, same as always. Though with Mongoose Sumo you sometimes get a vehicle destroy if you flip it right.

Only trick is getting lucky enough to have it in Action Sack…and not getting stuck with Tank World again.
343 needs to add a round in WZFF with Marines driving around Mongooses (kill, let’s say, 150?). Would make completing the Marine company commendation and the Mongoose Destroyer commendation so much easier.
Bombs
Hydras make short work of any Mongoose, especially the upgraded variants.

Trip mine…oh wait this isn’t Halo 3,so no its not any easier
I had my best luck with this Com in BTB, mostly CTF, on maps like Altar. Hover around your flag spawn area and wait for the caravan to arive

Yea, btb is the best way to go to get your mongees commendation. By the time explosive are unlocked in warzone, everyone is busting out warthogs and ghosts. You just have to hope for those poor souls who ended up with a mongoose off a random vehicle 3.

I still haven’t done it… and I’m nearly SR150, playing most days. I have this left, also the Breakout ones, and have nearly 60 WZFF wins. These commendations take forever.
The Mongoose destroyer is easily the most frustrating commendation for me. It’s just the mere fact that more often than not you end up killing the driver and not the entire vehicle short of using something like a Splaser, Incineration Cannon, or Rockets. Not to mention most people just don’t usually utilize them that often unless it’s CTF. I liked an earlier post about adding them in as a boss enemy in Warzone that would certainly be nice.
