Feel free to add any new ideas to this topic.
Introduction of A.I units (like Cortana) to our customisable spartans:
Now that every player has their own spartan with their now load-outs and perks, can’t we have our own A.I as well. Maybe we could be offered a choice out of various A.I models and the option to have them in the H.U.D. They could tell us when enemies enter our radar or if our armour abilities are about to run out of charge. That way, it would feel more like controlling a real spartan and you would have your own customisable A.I companion like master chief.
There could also be the introduction of large scale space battles using xbox one’s better processor, we could pilot Sabres or Pelicans in combat or control larger ships like the Pillar of Autumn with heavy artillery and use the microphone option on Kinect to co-ordinate attacks.
We could also have massive vehicle wars on desert maps (with not too many indoor areas as to mainly focus on vehicular combat)with UNSC against the Covenant. Each side with the corresponding vehicles such as mammoths and lichs (but ones which players can actually control), banshees, falcons, warthogs, ghosts, vultures, hornets and more.
Bots would also be a great addition to Halo Gameplay
I like your ideas.
A terrain editor for Forge would be awesome.
What if we introduced forerunner vehicles? They seem to be lacking in that department.
As a Forerunner version of a banshee, we could have a vehicle somewhat like a glider that can be controlled by two players, the first player can shoot with twin hardlight cannons that fire at the same rate as a light-rifle but have higher damage, this player would also control the ship and can use the grenade button once every three seconds to drop a pulse grenade (there hasn’t really been many flying vehicles that have an option of being a bomber).
The second player should have the option to use a top mounted turret firing binary hardlight shots, they would be able to swap the turret from the top of the ship to the bottom by pressing the grenade button so that they can have a higher range of view.
If they make this, it should be called the “Phoenix”.
There should also be a pimped-out hover tank that fires incinerating cannon shots.
I agree with the idea of personal A.Is.
They could work as a custom announcer. Giving you info like who’s winning/losing, where’s the flag, your status etc. The original announcer being the default A.I voice.
With the new Kinect imagine all the functions and voice commands you could give your A.I. The possibilities!
If you notice the back of every helmet in Halo 4 there is a very large circle on the back. I assume this is an A.I slot so the Spartan IVs are probably A.I ready.
However smart A.Is can be very expensive and it’d suck to get stuck with a dumb one knowing that there are better A.Is that make your one look like a game boy.
But Hey!If super soldiers, MJOLNIR and vehicles with energy shields can become standardized within just a few years than why not smart A.Is? But it’d be kind of a kick in the balls to find out that a cure for rampancy was found right after Halo 4.
I would name my A.I Rusty and would be a Cowboy.
Another thing, I’m not entirely sure if the current file-share has the options to search for maps by their title, that would make it much easier to find maps that you have heard of rather than trying to figure out how to spell the creator’s gamer tag

YES!
There needs to be more weapons, what about a corrosive dart gun that fires at a slow rate and deals acid damage for a few seconds after each shot, this would be really good for players hoping to get “kill from the grave” achievements or players who are attempting an ambush
343 could also integrate crates that the player can have the option to kick objects like crates towards the direction that their aim recital is facing. This would add a new aspect to the fighting and allow for more strategically planned attacks.
Larger crates would slide along the ground and smaller crates would fly through the air for a few meters before spinning/rolling (their not spherical) along the ground. If a crate hits an opponent, it would deal damage and knock them backwards.
Great the Kinect… I hope with every fiber of my Timmyness that if unplugging the damn thing is impossible, smashing it will work

If you mean the ability to kick objects, I don’t mean kinect, you could use the melee button when right next to the object

I don’t want the camera attached to the console. I don’t want the microphone attached to the console. Only a physical disconnection will satisfy. No feature, no amount of security short of a switch that severs the movement of electrons is enough. If Halo ever requires the Kinect, I’m out. Muted hundreds of idiots with kinects in H3 and Reach because the didn’t realize their tv’s were too loud causing the Kinect Echo.
I understand why MS is forcing everyone to buy one, it lets developers know that the can use it for their games, but don’t if a game ever requires it, I’m out. Don’t even care if they fix the echo
True, the sound quality from the kinect is terrible, everyone should get headsets or not bother communicating
CORRECTION: The sound quality of the 360 Kinect is terrible, we dont know if the Kinect 2.0 will work…
BTW, i want them to remove flinch and introduce flexible recoil, one that can be countered by just moving the sticks in the other direction…
And Elites in MP of course…
And more varied loadout weaponry, im sure 343i learned enough with Halo 4 balancing…Right now i feel like the Concussion Rifle could be in a loadout and be perfectly balanced XD
The concussion rifle is way overpowered against medium and lower weight vehicles like the warthog and the ghost, one or two shots and they’re spinning out of control. No, this would unbalance the game play.
However…
There should be a game mode somewhat like action sack, where you can create your own load out with any 2 Halo weapons. That would be pretty cool and allow people to willingly enter a game where they know they will be playing against ordinance weapons.
It would also be good for completing weapon kill related achievements
I’d like the Theater system to be more “efficient”
THEATER 2.0
Theater now offers the ability to fully manipulate recorded clips. The player can now splice, merge, and arrange recorded clips into one full video without having to edit the clip externally.
With the use of the Kinect, the player can add external sounds to recorded clips. Adding dialogue, sound effects, and soundtracks to videos no longer requires editing the video externally.
In clips have contain Green Screens, the player can apply backgrounds to them in game.
Theater is no longer limited to one player

There could be an attrition mode of dominion where each team has a proper, highly defended base with indoor turrets and forcefields. The strength of these turrets and shields would be dependant on how many mini-bases each team controls, the more mini-bases, the stronger the main base. The goal would be to take over the opponent’s base.
halojinky117G, I based this on your optional objective idea from the link that you posted, I like the idea.
