Is there any news yet about the ranking system that is going to be in halo 4 other than there’s no 1-50 rank 
You should be happy that The Arena isn’t returning either. I know i am.
Sadly, 343 hasn’t discussed any details on the ranking system or playlists for Halo 4.
What we do know is that the Reach system is returning and that armor customization is back. Unlocks will not be exclusive to armor but also ablities, tactical packages, support upgrades, weapons, skins etc. Instead of credits, it’s EXP now.
The amount of exp earned (according to 343) is determined on performance in game (rather than just time alone) and it seems as though you earn more exp when you play the objectives and winning the match.
I know it’s a Spartan OPs picture but there is no reason why the same could not be applied to competitive MP.
I thought you use Spartan Points to buy AA’s and mods, Then exp would be used for ranking. But how do you earn spartan points?

You earn spartan points every time you rank up.
