We have seen several campaign videos leading all the way back to 2019. And one thing all of those had in common is the same chunk of terrain we are allowed to see on the map view: Halo-Infinite-Campaign-Map-850x478.jpg (850×478) (gamepur.com)
Either they are keeping the Zeta ring world map close to their chest, the campaign can open the hub progressively as the story unfolds or… the world of Infinite is tiny.
I tried to search youtube for answers but i didnt get anything meaningful. Any ideas?
They did say it was 7 times larger than Halo 4 and 5 combined, don’t have time to dig the previous stuff to find it, but it’s large

I’m also quite worried about this. Even if the map is large, there isn’t much point if the biome is all the same PNW type location.

So we’ve heard, but that doesnt mean much. Past Halo’s had small pockets of wide areas but the landmass is typically small and i believe they could easily fit in a small portion of a normal open world game.
I do find it concerning how little we have seen or been shown.
I’ve been doing a BOTW playthrough (only like 5 years late…) and I’d be surprised if Infinite is even just 1/8th of that.
I’m thinking that the landmasses we see on the map are going to be “levels” but of course wider in scope than the traditional linear missions we are used to.
