Any ideas ? Audio solution needed
So I recently invested in a LG 4K panel for the man cave (especially with Halo 5 around the corner ) and it looks awesome, however previously I had been using a 27inch Monitor with a Sony 5.1 amplifier and Turtle Beach X41s for audio (5.1 surround sound for during the day gaming and TBx41 for at night). However since buying the 4k panel its done some weird HDMI thing thats stops the TBx41 from working altogether.I have tried a few configurations and read into it and nothing works so gave up using the TBx41 and bought a cheap pair of Sony headphones as an interim solution. Hope this makes sense so far?
So I was thinking that it had been about 4 years since i bought my last headset so I did some research and came to the conclusion that proper audiophile grade headphones connected directly into the 6.3mm jack on my amp was the way forward in terms of audio quality. My problem is that as i am not looking to use a gaming headset i losing my ability to chat. So I have been trying to find a good solution to this and its not easy. Ideally using my Kinect would suit me as the room is quiet with headphones on but you can’t do this unless its a party chat (why?) it appears you can’t use a standalone mic either as unlike the xbox 360 you can’t make the chat come out your speakers/ headset.
Any ideas aside the obvious of buying a gaming headset?
