I’ve been looking everywhere for this answer.
Go to your map in the “my files” section, press “view details”, and scroll down to “edit screenshots”. You’ll see 12 screenshots you can use and on the right, you can choose if it’s the thumbnail or screenshot on rotation.
Here’s where I’m confused though. Those 12 screenshots appear to be randomly selected, and I have no idea how to choose from the rest of my screenshots. It’s very frustrating.
Go into a custom game and select machinima mode. Once in game, hold x and up on d pad and you’ll have free cam control. Take your pic.
Once in file publishing screen scroll down to add screenshot, select your latest shot and unselected any others from the right hand menu. Publish!
Can we expect the screenshot for map feature to be present for PC in Season 3? Doesn’t appear to be added in the 12/06/22 update.
Does it work with cloud gaming on PC? I added screenshots to my map by using cloud gaming on xbox, because I didn’t want to download the game again (currently playing on PC, but have a consoles). Now I’m wondering if it’d work on PC with cloud gaming.
Mans forgot to tell us how to take the pic!
I thought I explained how to do it in my reply…Did I miss something out?
I do not see any way to do this on PC. There is no place to add a screenshot to a map that I can find. Am I missing something obvious?
You can’t on PC. Which is silly, because the Xbox app literally lets you upload pictures from your PC to Xbox Live. So why is it a problem in Halo? I don’t know.
I’m curious, does the cloud play version let you do it in PC? Had anyone tried. Due to not want to download the game on my Xbox I used cloud play to add the screenshots, but I used and Xbox to do it. And I’m curious if it’s work on PC with cloud play.
