I’ve been playing since Halo: Combat Evolved and I’m 31.
I’ve been playing since Halo: Halo 4 and I’m 16.
My exact age is classified but I am over 30.

56 year old bot player here, new to the franchise
My father plays Halo and he’s 40-something. I’m a young 21 years old and i’ve been playing since 2004 (Started on CE though)
My birth year is in my name so if you can do the math you’ll figure it out. Seriously though, I forget how old I am.

I got Halo Combat Evolved one week after it came out on the original Xbox. Man those were the days. The first time I landed on the mission Halo it was all over. Side note: I am over 30.
I remember the hype of Halo 2 and launch of Xbox Live. I had CE for Xbox but didn’t really get into the multiplayer until the sequel. I’m 32.
One of the reasons I feel fellow ’OGs’ are the only real competition is bc they don’t have the handicap of being children. Lol.
Guy a few posts up said he was 16… Halo 3 came out when he was in diapers. So I’ve literally been playing Halo 3 since he was in diapers. What a flex.

I’m going to speculate and say that most everyone who started out playing Halo:CE around the time it came out (2001) is going to be over the age of thirty, unless they were under the age of ten at the time. 36 years old here…. right? Yeah… difficult to keep track as it keeps changing every year.
I can inform that the first Halo that I played was Halo 3 proably sometime in late 2007 or early 2008 which means that I don’t satisfy the condition of being an OG Halo player. However, I won’t reveal my exact age other than that it satisfies condition that it’s part of a sequence with numbers where after a finite amount of steps, the sequence will reach the a square and the prime factors of the same square if the next element in the sequence is defined accordingly.
