I’ve been reading a lot of articles from other websites. Most of this I believe is speculation, but how about any news straight from the horse’s mouth so to speak?
Has 343 put out any official news pertaining to the plot on Halo 5? All I know about the next game is that it won’t be released on 360 causing me to do a massive impulse buy on the next Xbox console released just so I can own the next Halo game.
No, all they’ve said is that they’re working on it.
Check back at E3. If they don’t release any there, check again at the E3 after that.
It’s supposed to be the darkest game of the trilogy. Or at least, that’s one thing 343i said.
As moahearder said, you aren’t likely to hear much of beyond a few comments like “darkest” until E3.
For like a year after h4’s E3 announcment all we had was “an ancient evil awakens and threatens the universe”, which ended up translating into “A guy with good intentions doing bad things threatening earth”.
Halo 4 has been out all of what, 3 months? Why would anyone expect to hear anything about Halo 5? Considering H5 will be a next gen title, it is going to take a significant amount of time to get that beast ready. There will not be anything mentioned at E3 about it. Not directly. Best bet will be E3 2014 for a launch in 2015.
I don’t understand why everyone’s loins are frothing right now about the next game when we aren’t even through with this one. There’s a good chance we will see another season of SpOps which should keep us more than occupied.
