Are there any 343i original maps that youd like to see return in Halo Infinite?
Honestly, my favorite map is Haven. Gotta love a small chaotically good map

There are definitely some good maps there… particularly Haven.
But I would like to see them concentrate on original maps. Designed specifically for the movement mechanics of Infinite.
The problem with remakes is everyone focuses on why it doesn’t play exactly like the original from 20 years ago.
Leave it to the forgers to recreate and reimagine the classics.
- Complex from H4 - Raid on Apex 7 (would be good for btb 2.0)
Halo 4
Abandon or Skyline (Arena)
Meltdown or Longbow (BTB)
Halo 5
Plaza
Haven from Halo 4 was very much a favourite of mine
Halo 4 maps were disgustingly bad, and while there were some good halo 5 maps, I don’t think any of them were iconic enough to warrant a remake.
If I absolutely had to pick one though, it would probably be Plaza.
Every 343 map seems to have these weird nooks, bends and crannies all over the map. Honestly the only good map they’ve done in my opinion is Haven.
Maybe the ones from the crimson map pack in 4 but that’s it.
Only Halo 5 map that sticks out is Plaza. It’d be cool to see an Infinite version of that one.
No lol. Honestly I can barely remember the H5 maps and it seemed that they barely had any and got lazy and just let the community do it and put those in rotation. I think all the H5 maps wouldn’t work because of the movement abilities they were designed around. Unless they wanted to reimagine it but I’m not nostalgic for those maps so I’d prefer new ones. Honestly each map I can think of I just get reminded of the long hall way design. Plaza… Two cqc sides mixed with long angles across the map. Coliseum…Basically a big open pit for long range combat. Haven…Hallways but a circle. I think that underwater map they had wasn’t too bad. There were some interesting jumps and the general design didn’t just feel like hallways.
Haven is the only one I think I’d like to come back, but I’d want the design to be more like Halo 5s version as the aesthetic was much more interesting.
Plaza was probably the best Halo 5 map but I don’t think it’s good enough to be remade honestly.
For Halo 4, I would love to see Skyline and Haven. Skyline feels just like an old-school Halo 2-3 map, with a well-defined centerpiece and defendable power positions that allow for majority, but not total control of the map. Haven also feels old-school, but more in the vein of maps like Rat Race or Gemini, being built more for firefights and brawling than map control.
Halo 5’s maps didn’t leave much of an impact on me, honestly. The only one that sticks out in my mind was the underwater map Fathom, mainly because of the aesthetics and the space whales you could see outside.
I wouldn’t mind seeing expanded versions Exile or Vortex return from Halo 4. I really enjoyed Halo 4s BTB.
For Halo 5 on the other-hand, nothing really sticks out.
Adrift from Halo 4. It was great for multi flag
Valhalla is a classic since 3 and was in for so I want Valhalla^^
From 5 I want Coliseum. My favorite and since 5 isn’t on PC I didn’t play it enough.
I’m a BTB player so I’m going to say nope, probably the last great BTB map produced was Highlands for Halo Reach, everything after that was subpar at best.
Haven I guess.
Haven from H4 and Plaza from H5
There’s a lot of maps i actually like in 5. I like them in 5 though. I want a new experience, and halo infinite isn’t going to play like halo 5. I prefer new maps. Hopefully I’ll grow to like the new maps just as much as 5 or any of the old games I’ve played. I don’t want another iteration of a map because there’s no strong brand new maps.
If I had to pick only 1 it would be Haven. IF I had to pick one. I find almost all of the H4/H5 maps nothing special or outstanding.
