any good halo books "Novels" or Comics

I am looking at buying some halo books what books do you think i should start off with ?

I mean, there’s no better place to start then The Fall of Reach to be honest.
It’s pretty much a prequel to CE, and sets up a lot of main characters that are still relevant to the recent games.

Fall of Reach and Ghosts of Onyx are definitely two of my favorite. If you want to explore the lore but not want to read novels the Mythos book is pretty awesome, but it will spoil some stories if you would rather read those stories first.

Contact Harvest is also a pretty decent starting point, especially if you want a little more insight on how the whole Human-Covenant war started. But in general I agree with Astrogenesis, The Fall Of Reach is a fantastic novel and the best place to start.

Couple of options for ya:

If you’re just looking for interesting stories, pick up a copy of Halo Mythos. It’s an encyclopedia of sorts that covers topics ranging from the Precursors to the beginning of HW2. Read through it, and if you find a topic of discussion interesting to you, check it out on Halopedia and see what books are related to that topic.

If you’re looking to get into the lore and need a place to start, pick up Fall of Reach, The Flood, and First Strike. You can skip The Flood and just play CE, but that book has a bit more than just the game play, which made it worth the read for me. From there, just read in order of publication date.

Fall of reach but the flood is a great book

Glad someone else thinks so. I don’t know Dietz’s work beyond The Flood very well. But it felt like he was constrained by the limitations of the book. He had to write a book that mirrored a game, and that can be kind of boring to read when there’s a literal game to play instead. But the other moments that cover things outside the original game are very entertaining to read imo.
