Well do the daily and weekly challenges if you have not inspiration for custom challenges.

a trick: do the same custom challenges than the daily challenges if you have not inspiration.

1000-1500 kills in firefight is worth 10000 credits, 500 or more headshots is worth a large number too, it’s boring but effective and gets those commendations up too! Medals aren’t worth as much in firefight, 500 medals only gives about 3000 credits.

Campaign challenges yield garbage ebcause people use saved games via cloud so running a level LASO can’t be an option.

And of course multiplayer is worth the most, it’s the only type that supports CC payouts over 10000. It’s unfair to people who don’t like MM, and I’ve seen people who only play firefight. Hell I just ran NA on heroic all skulls on except iron and blind. It was hard to say the least. If only I did it via coop the high score would have been saved on the leaderboards.
