I would really like to see a map pack similar to reaches anniversary map pack. Maybe if 343 remakes halo 2 they will release some more or something.
I also agree that the Castle map pack is easily the best.
Crimson was ok but didn’t have very good gameplay. Wreckage was complete crap, shatter had horrible map flow, and harvest was pretty decent.
And don’t even get me started on the majestic maps! Easily the worst halo map pack of all time.
Although the skyboxes were good for all three, they were all hastily throw together and had bad gameplay. Skyline is super bland, monolith is like a 12 year olds forge map, and the longshore esk one was just awful.
I’m interested to see what they do next. There’s no doubt in my mind that they have pushed the DLC for this game super hard and pushed it fast. I’m just debating what the reason for that specifically is.
Hopefully it’s not a cashgrab due to Halo 5 being released (god forbid) this year, or even next.
Well, I would love to see an “Anniversary Map” or a “Flash Back Map Pack” containing 3 of community favorite maps from Halo: CE/CEA, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo: Reach.
To be honest I would love to see a Sword Base remake. I would also like to see a classic map pack come out. However, there have been 3 map packs with a total of 9 MM maps. I believe there were only 3 map packs for Halo 3 and 2 for Reach, so I highly doubt there will actually be another map pack. I could see some random maps dropped every once in awhile, similar to the Forge Islands however. Plus 343i is has pretty much moved on to Halo 5 at this point seeing as it is going to be for the new Xbox. The only support 343i is giving Halo 4 at this point are fixes and patches that should have been in game since day one.
Are there any plans to further support Halo 4 after the next title update? -SitriStahl
We intend to support Halo 4 through Matchmaking, events, essential fixes and playlist design for a long time to come - and while there are no announced map packs after Castle releases later this spring, we have some cool ideas about future content and support that we’re tinkering with right now.

I hope Frank keeps his word on that, and hopefully he mentions future DLC Maps plus SpOps Season 2.
But, i think the process of doing that will take some time and at this point, i don’t think that will happen anytime soon.
If they do release a new map pack, I am hoping there will be covenant and flood themed maps in it. Cosmetically we seem to get nothing but forerunner and human based themes, so something different would be very nice.
But as how likely a new map pack is to come up? i really don’t know this time around. We’ve already gotten the traditional three map packs, and Forge Island to boot, but a fourth map pack is not out of the question (Halo 2 and 3 had several map packs, with 2 having a large map pack and 3 having a two-part map pack, plus the reach anniversary map pack had five multiplayer maps).
I wouldn’t get my hopes up, though I would keep an eye open on the subject. Halo 5 could be ways off from now, and the map packs we got came out pretty quickly (probably due to new the new XBOX being around the corner), so who knows other than 343?
In my humble opinion, I would like to see some large-scale, non-vehicular combat.
(not necessarily open but with cover and buildings, walls, etc.)
Having never played CE or its remake, I would love to play something along the lines of Hang 'Em High.
(also, 343, PLEASE give us Covenant maps. I will vomit if I see another Forerunner spire or human laboratory.)
