Does anyone here have any funny stories that they have from Firefight or Matchmaking?
Me and my friends had an incidence occur last night and I thought it was a funny but unfortunate glitch:
We were playing Mythic Firefight and we were not able to select any other loadout weapons, REQs or Vehicles for the first round, which aroused some suspicion. It then came to our attention that no one else was able to either, following the rounds that continued. It was from this point forward that we were forced to use Assault Rifles and Magnums and anything we could scavenge on the ground to complete Mythic Firefight. Needless to say, we failed at the 3rd round & celebrated with a -Yoink!- party xD
I felt it wasn’t really worth it posting in support, but it inspired me to create this thread; to hear other funny stories or occurrences that you have dealt with/come across in Halo 5

once this guy was irrationally mad at everything that all of us [the other teammates] were doing in fiesta ctf. the funny thing is he was literal dog water and barely had any kills and only had the flag for a couple seconds at most. when the enemy flag was about 2/3 of the way to our base, it reset and he yelled “HOW THE [yoink] DID YOU GUYS NOT GET THE FLAG?” it was a while ago and i can’t remember my exact response since these things happen fairly frequently but it was either “how did you not get the flag” or “guys I think ___ is slightly annoyed.” those are my two responses i normally give.
this other one happened in halo reach but i think it’s too good not to include. i normally play with my mic muted although there was this one kid who had their mic unmuted but they weren’t talking, instead they just were coughing, heavily breathing, i could hear controller presses, etc. eventually I unmuted and held my mic right up to my mouth and breathed as heavily and as loudly as i could. hilarious since they were like “dude you need to mute.” the irony

Invisible boss- spawned inside a wall, immune to bullets…but not melees
Team beat down of grunt mech- first time i saw one get caught in a lift. time edited
Mythic Warzone Firefight. A Jackal sniper wiped our entire team like three times until he eventually was slain. Unfortunate but it was just kinda funny to see. There was another time, I was coming out of the garage with a Scorpion and ended up hitting another scorpion during the animation and the dude got thrown across the map!
There’s beeen other times, like me and my buddy would join a custom game. Y’know, your typical “Sangheili Social” weirdness. We found a hole somewhere near spawn and snuck through the walls into their “throne room” and accessed their very hidden armory by using machinima mode to watch their moves. Chaos ensued

imnotporter that first guy sounds like the typical ‘try hard’ who likes to blame everyone else, there’s nothing better than trolling them back by simply reversing the accusation on them haha
your other story also gave me a giggle, would of been funny to hear them say that back xD
safetym33ting that invisible boss was hectic! Everyone was freaking out haha, I’m so glad that you were still able to do damage & that grunt mech stood no chance haha
deathshadow74 those snipers can be hectic, would of been a relief once you finally got the jackal hahaha
I love it when that happens with the Scorpion, always makes me lol every time
& that last story is very well done, and very well written; I quite enjoyed the ending haha

GG Panda GG for a solid 2 minutes I thought for sure it was a glitch loss, and then someone spartan charged the wall and it moved halfway in halfway out of the wall
