The plasma caster is there, though it’s not exactly the same. I personally don’t like weapons that force you to sit (camp) and watch them.

Introducing new weapons to the sandbox might not be as easy as introducing armor, but who knows?
I wasn’t a fan of the sticky detonator, but that grenade launcher is still one of my favorite weapons. Bouncing nades around cover or setting traps will always be cooler than what that new plasma caster does (imo).

Umm, sorry to break it to you bro, but neither the sticky det nor the pro pipe forced you to sit at all. You had the option to set traps for people, but anyone who watched any reach MLG footage knows the grenade launcher was one of the deadliest and most skillful weapons in the halo franchise.

The pro pipe is one of my favorite weapons in the Halo franchise to this day. By far one of the most utilitarian weapons with 1 shot kills for days and vehicular harassment, you were a force to be reckoned with.
But it’s a tradition to change the grenade launchers every game.
The legendary version of the Hydra has an EMP effect just like the pro-pipe if that helps.
