So I’ve been playing around with the Spartan Customization settings on my profile page for a good bit, and the only thing that is really bothering me is the choice of colors.
In Halo Reach and Halo 4, I used the “sage green” as the primary or secondary because to me that color looks like a military-shade color (it’s definitely the closest thing that we’ve ever had to UNSC green), but now in Halo 5 there are only three shades of brighter-green colors (and I’m using “green” generously; they’re more like three shades of sea-foam). Is there any chance that we could see more variations of colors in the future via updates?
I know this is a bit of a nitpick, but customization is kind of a big part of Halo for me and a majority of the community (and 343 obviously recognizes that, seeing as the new REQ system seems to be based heavily around appearance/cosmetic features, so much so that they are making micro-transactions for it), and I’m just curious if adding new colors would be possible.

EDIT: I misspoke. There are only SIX shades of pink (still excessive), but there are NINE shades of blue; red only has ONE shade…
I highly doubt we will see any other colors added but I’m going to stay hopeful that they will add more. I also have hopes that the colors will look different on the xbox.
Also, how is RvB going to represent Simmons!?
There is no maroon color, only ONE red!

I’m holding out for the colors to look better in-game as well. I’m confident (desperate) that they will, because at the moment the colors online are bit too bright/neon-ish.

With one shade of pink. Two shades would be acceptable. Three is above and beyond, but admirable.
But NINE?
Uncalled for.

This is an outrage! The orange doesn’t look like Grif’s orange from Red vs Blue! There is more lightish red than other colors.

I was thinking that too, but I wasn’t sure if I was the only one!
tbh fuchsia is not pink… so there are like 3 that fall into the pink spectrum and 3 that fall into the purple spectrum with 2 from both of those falling into fuchsia.
Ah Halo, where a group of (presumably mostly) men can argue about pink, fuchsia, and Sea-Foam while picturing bad -Yoink- futuristic armor in pastels…
I agree with the general consensus that more colors would be nice but are probably unlikely.
Guess you can always adjust the color settings on your TV…

That’s quite the solution you’ve come up with there, but there is one thing that you haven’t considered; something you could never have foreseen!
