Just curious because I love the Halo games, right up to Halo 3 which was the last game I played.
Any chance of a PC release for Halo 3 and/ or Halo 4?
Halo are amazing games and I love them, but my Xbox broke because that is the only game I played, like all day every day and since it broke I never went back to an xbox ever again.
I know that Microsoft is big boss, but seriously? Do something right Microsoft and make a PC version.
Would make more money becuase I know a load of people who would buy this game on the pc, one massive community would, and I am game.
If this was released on the PC, it would blow BF3 away big style because this game is amazing!
Sorry but it’s not gonna happen. Software sells hardware, especially big games like halo 4. Then future software sells more, because the userbase is bigger. Then another big game releases, and since the userbase is bigger, even if this software is not big anogh to sell much hardware, according to statistics it will sell better because there is a bigger userbase, more people who may buy it. Then Another big game comes out, which further increases the userbase, selling more future software. It’s this business mechanism that leads to exclusive games, as if a game is exclusive, you sell more hardware, and on it goes. If someone who has a pc can get halo 4, they have less incentive to get an xbox. It’s an annoying loop, but one that makes sense.
at the halofest panel i think for halo 4 it was said that all their current endeavors (any game related to halo) are for the xbox 360 and thats their only focus at this time.
I know we’re all itching to get a current gen halo to the PC (think of all the mods!), but microsoft wouldn’t ever allow that, simply because halo is one of the main reasons the xbox is selling. If it’d go to the PC (which is a better platform), a chunk of the community would move to the PC, and less people would be interested in the xbox. But I guess halo 3/ODST would be alright, since it’s pretty old now, but it wouldn’t make much of a profit, and you know how much microsoft loves money.
Well the last game to be released on PC was Halo 2, so if Halo 3, ODST and Reach aren’t on PC by now then we most definitely won’t be seeing Halo 4 on there as well, unfortunately.
Still, I would enjoy having a new Halo game to play on PC.
