Come on! I can’t use my Map packs! Tried everything re-download etc. I can’t believe this! If Bungie was still in charge this would not have happened. Most everyone is upset. Please pull the Beta till 343 gets it right. The beta failed by breaking our game. Where is the Breakneck map? Oh, possibly injected in the Defiant pack and broke the game. It needs to be fixed today or it could hurt future sales. Would you buy a game that doesn’t work? What is with the Betas on Xbox Live being released anyway this week and last. I’m not mentioning the other game or company (Not 343’s) But theirs overheat the GPU and freeze their game and fowls up peoples internet connections. Any chance in fixing Reach like now Please! I did say please.

Check out your map packs Defiant is wiped out and you can’t recover it as well as other issues. They broke the best solid build game in history. Bungie made Xbox live what it is today because of Halo. 343 broke it.

I think this the biggest mess i’ve seen on this game. I have tried to download this Defiant Map Pack until i am blue in the face. I no longer think it’s funny, surely 343 should’ve had this problem sorted out by now.
After all the hype they put out about this TU, and they’ve ran into trouble already, i wonder whats next? i dare to think what they going to do with this game. But i will not say to much just now, because it might just be a gitch (some hope) , and they’ll fix sooner than lateter.

Well, if it’s like the original Defiant Map Pack issue, then it shouldn’t be a problem for me. They were working fine for me last night, and I see no reason why they wouldn’t work now

Yep removing the Bungie pro confirmation fail to fix it and re-downloading even after deleting it still did not fix it.
Let me be more specific. Re-downloading the map packs even after you deleted them still does not fix it.

Can you provide more information about the problem you’re encountering? For example, what type of system you’re using, size of HDD, is your copy of Reach installed to HDD or running from a disc.
I just loaded up my retail machine in the office and was able to load maps from the Defiant and Noble Map Packs with no trouble.

It’s installed on 120gb Xbox HD. Shows that you have new content and shows six stars. Go to any of them it directs you to Marketplace to download. Says I already downloaded of course. So I re-download it is instant and still not working. So I went to the HD and deleted all the map packs in halo reach file in case they all got corrupted and re-downloaded and same problem.
I have a 19" HDD tv and the disc is not a copy, after downloading it 4times, as when you press the play button you get no where, as it wont work. I already had these DLC’s before the TU, and hardly used them and they are still on Harddrive. So what happens now, and how do we fix it?.

I feel the game play was fine. Getting scores easier does not make it better. That just makes the skilled player look like they just got a free auto aim if they don’t have to be more precise. I haven’t really played the TU because I am waiting on these other issues resolved. Were me supposed to see Breakneck in the game also? I am so happy 343 is bringing back the classic maps. Oh and sorry to be a little harse on this Beta issue but messing up my map packs may just be the cosmetic of other glitches. Hope you all at 343 fix this soon.
