Lately about 7/10 of the games I play ive been matched with try hards with achilles and OP -Yoink- reqs… I’m just wondering if this is happening to anybody else
It depends on the time of day. Mornings no, evening much more so.
Halo 5 is a heavily intense team game. I don’t play arena no more, its to competative and i just want to have fun! So i play warzone, same situaion though i just do my best if im playing solo or with a small group. Adapt to the situations and make yourself as usefull as possible. If i’m against a full team i NEVER play offense, only defence and assist my team from a distance
Warzone or Warzone Assault?
Just because their trying to win and be team doesn’t make them a tryhard. Although if their farming then I guess their a tryhard for Achilles.

Yes, the last week I have suddenly been overrun several times in WZ and that happened very rarely to me during the first few months. Really annoying to play against coordinated fireteams when you are matched with randoms that frequently quits and don’t play the objectives.
People are just getting used to the strategies of the game that let them win more often. A lot of people would prefer to win, so they replicate the tactics that have worked against them in the past. I wouldn’t say that most people are try hards. They are simply adapting to the multiplayer environment.
I know right! I freaking hate it when my opponents try to win. Who would want to try to win when you could just lose all the time.

Depends on the time of day. Friday night is especially brutal in my experience. I NEVER play without a large group on Friday night. You’ll get mowed down repeatedly. lol
That’s why I play during the mid-day. At night I only play if I have a group to back me up. Otherwise, I play Fallout 4, Destiny or Gears of War UE at night.

Now as a part of a company that runs full fireteams I have to say even though we all are casuals we still can decimate randoms we had like 10 games last night going 1k to less than 100, and some of the randoms we fought were part of those Achilles company so you can’t tell op the just get better it boils down to just communication which isn’t ops fault if there is a lack of that
Really the game needs to put in algorithms to put parties against parties or add a mercenary playlist. The behavior of most people online is abhorrent so I’m not leaving my party. I don’t even bother playing the game solo anymore because I know I’ll hate it.
Well, I have seen many crotch shots in Arena. Does that count as tryhard?
Weekends and evenings are the difference between being murdered and murdered by 3 Scorpions, a Gauss Hog, 2 Banshees, 5 Snipers, and a Phaeton. Triple Mantis is potential.
So… Yes, often it happens. They love to quad team one guy and claim it took skill. Happened to me one time, I killed two of them before being killed.
Definitely if I play in the evening. I don’t have that problem in the morning though. I feel like there should be some sort of skill based matchmaking system in warzone, or at least don’t match up single players against full fireteams.
