Any advice?

So I’m new to halo 5. Just placed for the first time in team arena at gold 6. I’m not aware of what my stats are atm, I’m sure there easy enough to find. The majority of my games I seem to of been with platinum or higher, I’m not complaining because it made for some fun games.

However being new and I guess a noob, I’m just wondering what you guys have in terms of advice, whether it be related to shot, movement or anything else relevant.

I know I need to learn the maps and where all the weapons are, also when to use the magnum and when to stick with the assault rifle. Has anyone got any pointers as to where I should start learning my habits and some little tips to help me improve as an overall player?

Follow your team mates around. Others will rarely go out of their way to work as a team, so it’s up to you to make sure you’re near a team mate to avoid being 2v1’d.

Hm I see, I’ll take note of that. I do admit I saw very little teams hotting, no clue whether that’s considered taboo.

You can find your stats in the service record, in game or here on waypoint

As for tips, I don’t have much to offer but try not to sprint when you don’t need to, I find that I die a lot more when I’m sprinting a lot. Try being sneaky, crouching also helps aim and recoil.

You can also try watching a few videos. I would recommend Luke the Notable
