Antifreeze removal

Are they planning on taking out this map? Every single game someone is jumping out of it and sniping.
Just watched a level 128 player do this.

I’d like to see some barriers put in to stop this and keep the map but having it taken out would be fine too.

What you dont like people climbing the mountain and light rifle/bi ri ing down?
Its not like you can remove them one they get up there, perfectly fair right?

That map is so broken.

We need GOOD maps. Not just any old maps.

Overgrowth and Antifreeze are awful maps and I’d rather not have them at all.

You say that now, but when you start getting the same other maps a dozen times in a row you’ll realize your mistake.

I really won’t.

I’d rather play Fathom 5x in a row than Overgrowth once.

I played this map for the first time yesterday and it was a dreadful experience. We were an experienced team of six with two randoms but we must have hit a trolling pro-team or something because we got utterly destroyed. The whole game we were spawn camped and couldn’t leave our base, spawns outside of the base were also being camped on. Awful map.

im not even sure i’ve played this map in around 60 arena games. (about the total i’ve played)*

Biggest complaint from me is how simple it is to spawn trap a team. In slayer, spawn points shouldn’t be defined by bases. Yet last night we encountered a team of try hards who just stood in an arc around the front of our base and with the god awful design of only 2 ways out of the base to be met by a wall of the opponents every time you attempted to get out turned the game into a joke. It was pretty close before then.

It would literally take 343i 5 - 10 minutes in forge to fix the problem by adding a few soft kill boundaries in. Hopefully this will be fixed in the January update, but I don’t believe anything has been said about it yet.

What a co-incidence, that exact same thing happened to my team!

Broken barriers aside, I found the map wonderful. It just needs warthogs instead of ghosts, or just have both.

I’ve rarely ever encountered the people camping on the cliffs, I think only twice.

It’s still happening, pretty much every game someone will immediately run and get out of the map.

Im not saying they have to outright remove it, I don’t mind if they put in a fix. I just know that Orion had the same problem and it’s not back yet.

As far as the spawns and stuff, it is a very tough map to get around. If the other team doesn’t go all the way in your base you will always be stuck in there.

I really hate it in general. it makes no sense what so ever. Everytime I play BTB Strongholds on that map, I’m on the red side, and somehow, Blue always manages to get a hold of the middle. I do not understand how/. Never once I have seen red team take that middle and win. And to make it even worse, people are sniping from the top now. How did they not see this exploit… The wonders of Clamber and what it has brought.

The map is generally fun for Strongholds until someone camps the top middle (outside the map) and tags people trying capture one of the zones (mainly the middle). The exploit detracts from the map/gameplay balance. And no, I should not have to climb up there myself or waste my time trying to snipe the player exploiting.

Little known fact, Overgrowth is actually even more broken.

So if you’re looking for another reason to remove that map…

Lol I’d completely forgotten that map, I had to google it just now.

I seen two dudes run to the the top the other day, I shot them down and went up myself and just targeted at them the whole match.

I know, I know… I’m just as bad as them, but revenge is too sweet.

I personally really like overgrowth l, but the map pickups definitely need some work. I think if they get rid of the shotgun and move a couple of things around it would be my favorite map.

More on topic, I feel they should remove this map to fix it.
