The BTB map, Antifreeze, needs an update, and it needs it now. More specifically, do something about the out-of-bounds exploit already! I recently joined a CTF game where the enemy team had captured our flag once, then stole our flag again, just to run it all the way to the other side of the forge map. They were out of range of a binary rifle, for goodness sake! I’m sure you know about it, because I’m sure 99% of this community knows how to get out of bounds.
Furthermore, to prevent these exploits from popping up in the future, perhaps you should put a kill boundary everywhere you don’t want players to be. Because I guarantee you, if there is a single safe place out-of-bounds, someone will find it.
This is why dev maps are better than forge
That entire map is a mistake. Just like recurve.

Overgrowth would like a word with you.
I don’t see how the 10 second killboxes outside of the map contributed to the enemy capping the flag 3 times.

That’s because you don’t see, there are oob spots which don’t time you down and thus, enable you to stay there as long as you please.
Indeed very annoying and almost every agem on this map at least one is glitching his way up.

That’s fair, I’ve never seen anyone outside of the map too long. I only know of taking the man cannons in the middle to clamber above the hallways where the boltshots spawn. Personally, I think those spots are fair to flank the enemy in the congested hallway. However, I don’t know where these untimed spots outside of the map are because OP can’t grace us with content.
I’d also like to add that if 2 players of an 8 man team decide to leave the map, then only 6 players remain. Thus making the match an 8v6, because the two players can only be stationary and cannot pick up the flag. My point is: true those players are cheating, but the game becomes 8v6. From that stand point the tide was in OPs favor, but his team got out played and therefore lost.
I believe Anti-Freeze should have more cover because it’s a very linear map. Combat is mostly Spartans running in a straight line getting BR’d

Technically it’s not a glitch, but more of a careless oversight
I made a similar post yesterday. This is pure garbage and it is so frustrating that flowers exploit this. Just play the game, you can mess around with your friends in custom games or something.

I think OP was saying they took the flag out of the map, meaning his team could not score. That’s flat out cheating and this needs to be fixed.
Watched the video. Kinda surprised that the kill zones aren’t extended more. Still, it’s no easy feat to get up there and it is unlikely that a flag carrier could make that trip since they cannot sprint. It also appears that whoever leaves the map is removed almost entirely from the map. I agree that the killboxes should be tweaked, but OP didn’t lose his game solely on a few players leaving the map.

You’re right because they allowed the other team to score, but if they somehow did get the flag out there OP lost any chance at a comeback.
Funny, mplayed this map for a second time last night and forma second time hit the forums and people are unhappy. This map is utterly whack. It needs removing completely. The spawn camping and out of map exploits are horrendous.

You lost that game bad. That’s why you never go up against a team of REAL 343i employees - spartans out!
what happened to the good ole days where getting out of the map was normal and everyone did it? now a days you have so many cry babies. its not like you could not get your happy little -Yoink- up there to kill them, you chose to not and let them do it. you and your team had every chance to follow them and kill them and instead acted like a bunch of cry babies. that out of map thing it the easiest one to do next to getting out of ORION.
I fell as though they should remove AF. I hate this map so much. BTB is supposed to feel like a vehicular war room, but AF feels like a slightly larger arena. Also, people escape to spots where I can’t even see them shooting me. I die sooo much when I play that map, that I may as well save the trouble and quit. I hate being shot around EVERY corner in BTB. It just isn’t right. BTB needs to be relaxing and enjoyable (a break from arena), but AF doesn’t do it for me. I hate hate hate hate hate it.

The few times I played Anti-Freeze were ruthless and brutal, and I don’t care for the fact that it is less focused on vehicle gameplay.
In my opinion It’s the BR starts that ruin BTB. It would be better with regular loadouts (AR / Magnum) because there are only a few precision weapons on the maps. Then that would promote vehicle combat because you or your ghost / warthog isn’t being peppered to death at long range and it makes the vehicles a more deadly option.

The reason the map feels small is because you have not got out to explore it. Remember - spartans go anywhere and will win at any cost. #Spartans out
