Antifreeze map not balanced?

Just wondering how other players feel about this map. On slayer game types there isn’t really much of an issue but on objective game types there seems to be some problems with this maps balance. Most of the problems seem to be with red base and its layout compared to blue base.

Capture the flag
The red base has no bottom ramp leading up the flag like blue base does. Instead if you assault red base from the bottom you must run all the back of the base and clamber up the back walkway and then run around to the flag area. This is more difficult than blue bases simple ramp that leads right up the flag. Attacking red base from the front high ground is also much more difficult than blue base. There is a wall blocking half the view of red base and effectively funnels any attackers into a more narrow field of fire. This wall also partially block the view of the walkway leading out of red base to the flag area. This makes it easier for defenders to retreat from enemy fire. In contrast blue base is wide open from the front high ground and nothing blocking sight of the flag and the ramps leading up to it. To sum it up Blue base can be assaulted form 4 different directions and red base can only be assaulted from 2 effectively.

Strongholds
Not as big of an issue here but the front high ground of red base is still much easier to defend when compared to blue bases. Red team gets a very safe area to spawn into and a well protected to run up the man cannon that shoots you right into the red teams stronghold position at a relatively high angle.

I really love this map, but I have noticed these issues too.

This map is packed with issues, the glass walls make mid position way overpowered, the extreme heights players can reach don’t do it much good either.

More than once have I been spawnlocked in base in a game of Strongholds and front base has limited escape routes because of the high ‘walls’ on the sides. There probably are more issues in this map, didn’t play it much.

It’s almost as bad as recurve lmao. All we can do is laugh now.

Played Strongholds, CTF and Slayer on it once now and only thing that stood out to me was when I was on Red team trying to cap Blue yard I had their whole team man cannoning out at me there when they were spawning from Blue base. Had quite a chuckle about that.

Meh… I thought it was off too, but I found that I was following the natural flow of the map to the center base along the bridges too often. As soon as I started spending time on the opposite side of the map from the Lookout it was much more balanced then I’d thought. But I still notice people just lining up for the run along the bridges or in the booster to put you above it. Rarely do they spread to the far side to counter. Just keep running into the grinder.
